Search Power
AdvisorFX features an intuitive and easy-to-use search engine that offers control options for refined search results.
- Search results are returned within the category that they appear
- Results are ranked based on relevancy to the search term within each category
- A “Top 5” icon identifies the 5 documents with the greatest number of occurrences of the searched term
- Within the article, the search terms are highlighted in red text
- A “Next Hit Button” links to the next instance of the search term within the document
Topic Drilldown
Both the AUS Main Libraries and Taxt Facts offer an extensive index for a subject-matter drill-down method of searching.
- AUS Main Libraries is a topic-by-topic breakdown of the major subject areas covered within AUS
- The Tax Facts Guidex lists all of the questions that are relevant to a particular subject matter.
- Tax Facts Starting Points list the major, most commonly referred-to questions for reference on major topics
MyFX
MyFX is a “virtual workspace” to streamline the AdvisorFX experience and make the most of the information. It’s a place for advisors to keep a record of past page visits, save and organize favorites, make notes to articles for future reference.
- The “History” feature lists the past articles and tools visited
- The “Favorites” feature allows users to save and revisit useful articles
- Every article features an “Article Tools” box that allows quick printing, email article, add to Favorites, or take notes.
- An “Article Notes” feature allows personal commentary to be added to articles for later reference
- Organize “Favorites” articles using personal folders
